Classic Tuna Pasta Salad

- 8 ounces small shell pasta
- 2 cans (5 oz each) albacore tuna, packed in water
- 2 ribs celery
- 1/4 cup red onion
- 1 cup frozen peas (thawed)
Dressing
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
Seasoning
- 1 teaspoon dried dill
- 1/2 teaspoon salt, plus more to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook shell pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain, rinse under cold water until completely cool, and drain well.
- Whisk together mayonnaise, Greek yogurt, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, dried dill, salt, and pepper in a small bowl until smooth.
- Add cooled pasta, drained tuna, chopped celery, diced red onion, and thawed peas to a large bowl. Toss gently to combine.
- Pour half the dressing over the pasta mixture and fold until evenly coated. Reserve remaining dressing.
- Cover and refrigerate the salad and remaining dressing separately for at least 30 minutes.
- Stir in reserved dressing just before serving. Taste and adjust salt, pepper, and dill as needed. Serve chilled.
